WHAT'S ON THE BALLOT?

There is more than one important decision impacting our schools on the November ballot. ISD 199 voters will have the opportunity to vote on three School Board seats, the district's Capital Projects Levy renewal, and a statewide constitutional amendment involving Minnesota's Permanent School Fund.

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION

Three of the seven seats on the ISD 199 School Board are up for election this November. School Board members help guide district priorities, policies, budgets, and decisions that impact our students, staff, families, and schools.

LEVY RENEWAL

ISD 199 voters will be asked whether to renew the district’s existing Capital Projects Levy. Since 2017, the levy has supported curriculum, technology, learning tools, and ongoing maintenance needs with no additional tax impact.

PSF AMENDMENT

Minnesota voters will also consider a constitutional amendment related to the Permanent School Fund (PSF), which supports public schools through trust land and investment revenue. The amendment would change how PSF funds are distributed to school districts.
